Cal Crook - Celilo Falls 1948 & Monument Valley 1949

Cal Crook's photographs of the Celilo Falls Fishery on the Columbia river date from
the last few years of active Native American fisheries before the construction of dams flooded the areas. These unique photographs are reminders of what once was and what was lost.
The Arizona photographs from Monument Valley depict daily life of the Navajo people in 1949. Look for these photographs to be featured in the January issue of Arizona Highways.
